Hi again folks , its good to be back , since last posted , I have had a very productive week, which always improves my mood! despite the uncertainty of the times at this particular moment in time , its important to keep positive and maintain good mental strength , the corona virus is a terrible epidemic , however ,it is on us to be responsible, selfless, and be held accountable to stick and abide by the restrictions implemented by the government , it is hard for us all but it is still in our hands , I feel its vital to stay positive , be safe , use common sense and we will all be on the better side of this sooner rather than later . Apologies for the parental instructions , I just felt I needed to say that. Now I would like to discuss the week I had in college , seen as this is what my posting is related to and the foundation of this blog. the week that passed was one of initial anxiety and stress like any other but slightly more enhanced due to the fact I had up to three assignments due on the same day .The assignments that I had been required to submit simultaneously were those of sociology , my final paper in the module , a website I had to create and publish in regards to my Technical Writing module and finally a radio package which was my greatest challenge that had to be submitted for my Radio Journalism module.
First and foremost , where to begin , I like to take my biggest challenge first for two reasons , one being time , I like to think that if somethings a challenge and is new to you or just difficult then of course you will need more time , especially if things don’t run as smooth as you may like to which we all know happens quite a bit ! the second reason being once I feel I have completed my biggest task , it fills me with the full and confidence to complete the others , not with ease but certainly more confidence and willingness to succeed following the completion of my hardest assignment . Thus I started with my radio package , which I really struggled , I had little to no experience using adobe audition , and with the corona virus going on at the moment and the lockdown its much harder to get assistance or help, however, once again I got help from a very helpful classmate , who has helped on several occasions. It took me I would say around 5 days longer than I had hoped for to complete, but as stated previously the reward and feeling of fulfilment is huge when you achieve a harder project or a more daunting task. The radio package once completed felt great , and I feel that when you are positive, positive results occur, not he day I finished the radio package , not too long after I got an e-mail to extend the website assignment and the sociology paper , which really reduced a great amount of stress off my shoulders !
This news allowed me not only more time to possibly improve the quality of my work but also to allow more suggestions and advice to improve my finished product in regards to both assignments . My website is near completion , nut this extra time allows for me to iron out the last few wrinkles of the project , I am greatly appreciative of the lecturers of both modules for being understanding and fair , it is greatly appreciated and not lost on many of the students as who talking with them over the week have also said how grateful they are .
With this said I now must stop blogging and get more work done on the two assignments , as always and sated previously in my blogs I will be more than happy to update you all once my website is completed , satisfactory and published , I appreciate everyone who reads this and hope that you will gather something if even small from my blogs , until next week , stay safe , positive and mindful my friends , its been a pleasure.
