Following week 8 and the small discussion I had regarding the corona virus I would like to expand on. My university has closed due to the pandemic , following my national leaders announcements , Leo Varadker , Taoiseach of Ireland made the decision to close schools and universities with immediate affect following the heightened toll of deaths and infections not only in our country but many others .
It is a strange time to be honest , one where nobody saw coming , getting used to having to stay at home and do college work from home will be a challenge and difficult for all, but I hope it is for the best as we can hopefully save peoples lives who are more at risk of infection than others , it is a time to be selfless and grateful.Regarding my college work , the lecturers are saying they will move things online soon , which will certainly be different , it is a difficult thing to discuss a blog focused on university when you cannot attend the university , I chuckle but in all seriousness I would like to discuss how I am coping with working academically from home but also keep updates going regarding the university and country itself through these strange and stressful times. look forward to blogging about my week to come next week and to see how things play out , I hope everyone in good health and takes care of each other , until then , bye.
