This is the first blog I am writing for my course of study which is journalism , we had been requested to start a blog and to maintain and post to it over the coming weeks of the semester , the purpose of the blog I feel is to reflect on what I have learned within the week but also what I have seen and heard from students and lecturers within my course of study.
Within the last week I have felt a little anxious in regards to starting blogs, technical writing and radio journalism to which are some of the modules I am taken in the university of limerick , the anxiety seemed to drop off more recently as I received so much help from lecturers and fellow students to which I must admit the help or assistance rather I have received within the course as of yet has been refreshing and insightful , the course allows us to deal with current affairs , politics and news stories in general on a daily basis which is of great interest to me I feel much more informed on society as of late but in particular where I stand in such a society.
My confidence has recently improved as a result of being comfortable in the uncomfortable as a result of trying new modules and new techniques within writing which I hope to apply in the coming weeks in this particular blog , within the next few weeks in regards to this amazing groundbreaking blog I will look to share my experiences of study, my experiences with other people along the way , the purpose of this blog for me is to speak on my personal experiences in regards to college and life in general . hope to improve my blog but also improve myself as a person along the way , stay tuned folks it may be a bumpy ride!
